GraphGeeks Talk Ep3: Ensuring Success for Your Graph Team

Learn how to ensure success for your graph projects and team!

To be successful, there are four key elements that need to be in place: the right data culture, graph problem, data, and team.

After defining what it means to have an “upside-down approach” to data, we explore what makes for a good data culture and signs that you have one.

We then turn to identifying the right business problems for graphs and key decisions that should be made along the way in terms of getting the data in place before any analytics or modeling work begins.

The session concludes with suggestions for the continued “care and feeding” of the data culture to ensure scalability and long-term success.

SPEAKER: Dr. Clair Sullivan is currently the Founder and CEO of Clair Sullivan and Associates, a company dedicated to providing data science consulting services.

Prior to starting her company, she was the Director of Data Science at Vail Resorts leading a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers providing production models for operations and marketing.

Previously she was a data science advocate at Neo4j, working to expand the community of data scientists and machine learning engineers using graphs to solve challenging problems.

She received her doctorate degree in nuclear engineering from the University of Michigan in 2002.
